The Organizing Committee of MATBUD’2015 announces with pleasure the forthcoming 7th Scientific-Technical Conference on Material Problems in Civil Engineering to be held in Cracow, Poland, 22-24 June 2015.
Because numerous conferences are organized in Poland on the subject of construction, including a wide range of building materials, we have decided to adopt a new formula of our meetings. Our goal is to bring together researchers, scholars and students from all areas of Civil Engineering and Building Materials Engineering from the Visegrád Group and other European countries to promote exchange, facilitate networking and finding partners for future collaboration.
For this purpose we have decided to make English the official MATBUD’2015 conference language.
Traditionally, our conference is organized in consultation with Departments of Civil Engineering from Slovakia and the Czech Republic, who are also the organizers of cyclic conferences dealing with similar issues in Civil Engineering. Please rest assured that like in 1996, 1998, 2000, 2003, 2007 and 2011 we will make every effort to ensure that this conference edition at least meets the same high scientific and organizational standards as the previous six ones. In order to facilitate the work of the Organizing Committee, we will be grateful if the whole conference-related correspondence takes place via email. With this end in view, we have prepared a new MATBUD’2015 conference website with a registration, paper submission and reviewing system.
All the peer-reviewed MATBUD'2015 conference papers will be made available in an Open Access format in Elsevier’s Procedia Engineering, an online conference proceedings publication hosted on Science-Direct. Moreover, all published papers will be indexed in Scopus and presented in a dedicated online Procedia Engineering issue.
Hoping that you will find our conference interesting, we are looking forward to receiving your abstracts and papers for MATBUD’2015.
